Long time since we posted anything about Emilie’ $Long time since we posted anything about Emilie’s 1964 C10. The truck is now really starting to come together now. Don’t let the exterior looks of this truck fool you. The body is absolutely rust free and sprayed with some satin clear. Polished stainless steel hardware is being used throughout. This is a “home built” 1937 Packard replicar t $This is a “home built” 1937 Packard replicar that came in for a clean up of the engine bay and engine swap. So we removed the six cylinder engine with transmission and replaced it with a 350 SBC with 700R transmission after painting the engine bay body colour. We installed a Yukon dura grip posi in the 12 bolt GM rear end. We re-wired the complete car using an American Autowire Hiway 15 kit and replaced the ‘hokey’ heater with Vintage Air compact heater. We installed an Ididit tilt steering column to make getting in and out of the car easier. The engine was dressed up with a CVF serpentine belt system and stainless steel headers. This project is nearing completion now, so the owner may get some quality seat time before the car needs to be parked for the winter! #replicar #packard #americanautowire #sbc #ididit #cvfracing$
